Dear Mr. Dr. Robbins,

About two years ago I was I had high cholesterol and was in danger of a heart attack, told. My doctor wanted me on a Statin-medication set. I am a believer in things in a natural way, if possible, and told him, I would instead try to diet and exercise. I was already a healthy food, but still better to make.

For the next six months or so I really tried! My blood test showed cholesterol levels worse than before. I reluctantly tried Lipitor. I didn't know what was going on at first. I had a terrible itchy red bites all over my body. I brushed like crazy thinking it must be some invisible insects in my house. I have tried many ointments on my skin, which had little effect. I went a few months later to a urgent family doctor for an independent problem. He said he did not know what to do, but don't bite the itchy red spots on my skin. He told me it was an allergic reaction to medication, that all medications were poison, and that I see them STOP!

I had no problem with that at once to obey, I wanted not to take them in the first place. My skin was not clear, for three to four weeks. I assume, that it took long to get the medicine from my body. After my next blood test I learned my cholesterol levels higher than before. I told my doctor what happened and why I stopped taking the medicine. His answer was to try another medication. Again I said no, I would try to cut it myself.

I've tried fish oil and cholesterol-lowering supplements, but after a further six months, my blood values were still dangerous high. I reluctantly tried CRESTOR. My skin reacts even harder this time. LDL / HDL ratio improved. In fact, almost everything improves. My triglycerides was slightly worse - before: 140 to 141, both in the high range. I can not tell me that you can?
